My Michigan and Kansas friends probably think "snow" is not that unique of a concept, but when you've lived in Texas most of your life, snow is amazing. I love it, especially the BIG movie-like flakes like the ones that fell today.

Aw, that is so pretty. Seriously, I would like to live somewhere for at least a year where we could enjoy the seasons for real. We have talked about, when we "retire" we would like to spend a year in different parts of the country. We were even thinking of spending a year here or there (after Caden's gone) but before retiring. Like NYC, one year would be amazing! or Boston or Alaska or...pretty much anywhere we have gone that we have loved!
